Getting to Cape Canaveral

Cape Canaveral is conveniently located 45 minutes from Orlando and easily accessible via multiple routes.

  • Orlando International Airport (MCO) – The region’s largest airport, offering extensive domestic and international flights.
  • Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) – A smaller airport with regional flight options.
  • Driving Directions: Easily reached via FL-528 E (Beachline Expressway), leading directly to Kennedy Space Center.

To access the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, enter through the "Crawler" entrance on Space Commerce Way. Do not use the former SR405 entrance, as it is no longer accessible.

From Cocoa Beach: Take State Road 528 west, exit 49 for SR3 toward Merritt Island/Kennedy Space Center, then turn north onto SR3 and continue for 8 miles.

Turn left onto Space Commerce Way and follow for 1.5 miles—the Visitor Complex entrance is on the right.

From Orlando: Travel east on SR50 for approximately 50 miles. After passing I-95, turn right onto SR405 and follow signs for 10 miles. Turn right onto Space Commerce Way, drive 1.2 miles, and the entrance will be on the left.

Attendees must present their yellow admission ticket at the entrance turnstiles. The event venue is located inside the Center for Space Education—after entering, walk through the Rocket Garden, past the Gateway building, and follow the path to the CSE entrance.

Make sure to park in Lot 4, using the provided digital or printed parking pass at the entry plaza.

Experience MOPC at the Kennedy Space Center

MOPC 2025 takes place at the Kennedy Space Center, an iconic site for space exploration and the only orthodontic conference held in a working space launch facility. Your conference registration includes a 5-day admission ticket, allowing you to explore the Space Center before or after event days.

When you arrive and pass through the gates, you'll walk through the Rocket Garden, where you'll see real rockets built for past missions. The Saturn V Rocket Party takes you past the Vehicle Assembly Building, the world’s largest single-story building, where NASA assembles spacecraft before launch.

Download the Kennedy Space Center and Launch Coast apps for real-time launch alerts and event updates.
